Saturday Morning Art Class

I had Becca and Kaela over on Saturday morning to finally paint the canvases we got them. They came with a picture already outlined on it, and came with paints and brushes, as well as a color picture of what it COULD look like!
They are very talented and honestly did most of it them selves. I helped show Becca how to mix colors to make new ones and helped by showing her where to paint what, but she is very artistic and did a VERY good job w/out much direction! She learnt to blend in the colors and even did some shading. Kaela did a great job too and I helped her a little more, but she was very creative and making new colors on her own - which is great...my main lesson for the day was that even when you make a mistake on canvas, you make it into something else and it usually turns out even more beautiful! A good lesson that translates to life too!
